European Day of Languages Brings Colour and Fun!
King’s St Alban’s was a burst of vibrant colour as the whole school celebrated the European Day of Languages. Pupils wore clothes in the colours of various European flags, filling the school with an exciting and festive atmosphere.
The day was packed with fun activities, including a flag treasure hunt around the school grounds. Pupils enthusiastically searched for flags, learning about the rich diversity of European countries along the way.
During breaktime, the children had the opportunity to put their language skills to the test, showcasing what they had learned by confidently asking for a churro in Spanish or a croissant in French. It was a wonderful way for pupils to immerse themselves in different languages and cultures, all while having fun!
The day was a fantastic celebration of languages and diversity, and we are proud of all the pupils for their enthusiasm and participation. Well done to everyone!
