King's St Alban's

Extensive co-curricular provision returns to King’s St Alban’s.
The co-curricular programme at King’s St Alban’s is back!
Offering something for everyone, the King’s St Alban’s co-curricular provision provides a fantastic opportunity for all of our pupils to discover new passions and indulge in favourite activities and pastimes. So it is no surprise that on Thursday afternoon, pupils from the Pre-Prep and Prep school, a total of 95 children, enthusiastically embraced all that the Autumn Term timetable has to offer. Reviewed on a regular basis, our list of clubs and activities are constantly refreshed, taking inspiration from the pupils themselves. From an energetic Dance Club to a spirited Aqua Fun session in our onsite swimming pool and from a host of sports clubs including hockey, football and netball to a dramatic theatre club and chess club, each and every club was well attended.
Clearly delighted with his choice of after-school activity today, one Year 5 pupil commented, “There are so many clubs and activities to choose from, it was so hard to decide; there just aren’t enough days in the week. I have chosen to do Aqua Fun on Thursdays; it is so much fun and very different from our swimming lessons during P.E.” Meanwhile, Pre-Prep pupils “chilled out” as the Pre-Prep Mindfulness Club got underway, a new club for the Autumn Term.
Ensuring that our co-curricular provision is age-appropriate, King’s St Alban’s offers different clubs and activities to our Pre-Prep (Reception to Year 2) and the Prep School (Year 3 to Year 6). It was wonderful to witness the commitment of our children, demonstrated in improving their skills in sports and the arts whilst having so much fun. To witness the fun and adventure for yourselves keep an eye on our social media channels.
