King's Hawford
6 December
Festive Fun Day!
King’s Hawford was filled with festive spirit as children from Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 enjoyed a special day packed with creative and entertaining activities.
Organised by the teaching staff, the event aimed to spread holiday cheer while fostering teamwork and creativity.
The day featured a range of Christmas-themed activities. Mrs. Rand and Mr. Marsland led the way with Rudolph Reindeer crispy cakes, while Miss Kingston and Mrs. Leatherdale guided the children in creating their own 2025 calendars. Miss Lane inspired the students to craft personalized tree decorations, and Mr. Robert kept the energy high with exciting party games.
To ensure a mix of ages and promote new friendships, the children were divided into four groups with a combination of Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 pupils in each. Rotating through the activities, they were supported by the school’s Teaching Assistants, ensuring everyone had a chance to participate and enjoy.
The festive fun day was a resounding success, with students leaving the event proud of their handmade creations and beaming with holiday excitement. Teachers praised the children’s enthusiasm and creativity, calling the event a heartwarming way to start the Christmas season.
