We are delighted to announce that our Heads of School for the 2021/2022 Academic Year are Charlotte M and Josh R.
We are lucky to have appointed an extremely strong body of Monitors this year and choosing our Heads of School was not an easy task. However, after much discussion, reflection from last year’s Monitors and Head of School and conversations with staff, from now onwards King’s will appoint two Heads of School.
Charlotte started her King’s Journey at King’s Hawford in Kindergarten 1 before joining us at King’s Senior. She is studying Chemistry, Biology & Maths for her A-Levels and will also be doing an EPQ. She is hoping to go on to study medicine next year at University. Charlotte is a keen sportswoman and a member of the first hockey team.
Charlotte said of her appointment “I am so pleased to be given the opportunity to be a good role model and give back to the school community”
Josh joined King’s Worcester in the Lower Remove. He is studying Maths, Further Maths and Physics and he too will be doing an EPQ. Josh is hoping to go on to study Automotive Engineering next year. Josh is a member of the First Team for both Rugby and Cricket.
Josh and Charlotte are ecstatic at their appointments as Heads of School, and said they were excited to begin the new school term and get started in their roles. As Heads of School, Charlotte and Josh are hoping to leave a lasting positive impression on the school and be memorable to staff and pupils with their actions.
Already, in this first week, Josh and Charlotte have organised the Monitors’ rota and the order of the Monitors’ addresses. They have also helped set up beforehand for assembly and are currently preparing their speeches for the assembly and cathedral services next week.
Many congratulations to both Charlotte and Josh.
