Junior School Spring Concert

Tuesday evening's concert in College Hall was a fitting climax to this term's music making. All our choirs and ensembles have worked extremely hard to prepare for this event and the standard of music making was incredibly high. The audience were treated to a variety of music ranging from Dyson's Magnificat in C, performed by Chamber Choir as part of their preparation for choral evensong at Worcester Cathedral next term, to James Bay's Hold Back the River, performed by Guitar Group. Special mention should be made of our Senior Choir, who moved the audience almost to tears with their rendition of Bob Chilcott's beautiful song, Can You Hear Me? complete with sign language. The four soloists: Esther, Clarisse, Fen and John wowed the audience with their mature and accomplished playing and their calm, professional demeanour. Congratulations to everyone who took part. It was a very special evening.
