King’s Hawford Parents’ Association

Our Parents’ Association committee is made up of parents and staff, but we also believe that every staff member and parent is part of the Parents’ Association in support of the wider aims of the school.

By organising a whole range of events for the school community to enjoy, the Parents’ Association does a fantastic job of raising funds to support school initiatives and purchase additional equipment.

Fundraising activities and events include our annual Summer Ball, a magical Christmas Fayre, a spectacular Bonfire Night Fireworks Display, the Easter Eggstravaganza, wine-tasting events and quiz nights, amongst others.

Through the Parents’ Association, significant funds have been raised, which have been used to pay for the following projects:

  • Enclosure of the swimming pool
  • The purchase of our Katakanus
  • Outdoor play equipment
  • The traversing wall
  • The pizza oven
  • Theatre-style seating in The Barn, as well as lighting and sound equipment
  • The outdoor classroom
  • The Library Bus
  • Violins and trumpets for music lessons
  • The Aviary outdoor classroom
