Eco-Committee Enjoy a Socially Distanced Meeting

The KSA Eco-Committee had a socially distanced meeting on Wednesday in the Forest School area and it was great to be meeting again after such a long time. The meeting started with a big welcome back to existing members and a warm welcome to our new committee members.

The children are incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about the world around them and Mrs Atkinson and Mrs Hadfield put forward ideas for potential school initiatives.  Some valuable discussions ensued, along with some exciting opportunities for future Eco-Committee projects.

As the KSA Eco-Committee, our aim is to make our school as eco-friendly and environmentally aware as possible.  The first task given to committee members is to complete an ‘environmental review’ of the school.  Once our review is complete an action plan will be produced and future projects will be put into action!  This will then enable us to work our way through the requirements for becoming an Eco-School.

Well done Eco-Committee, it’s great to be back!
