As Head of King’s St Alban’s, Richard leads by example and can often be seen around the school interacting with the children. Richard joined King’s St Alban’s in 2016 and brought a wealth of management experience with him having previously worked as Senior Deputy Head at King’s Worcester.
Alongside his role as Head, Richard also teaches Maths, PSHE, and Games. He is the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) at King’s St Alban’s. Richard is the coach of the U11 rugby team and enjoys sharing his love of, and expertise in, the game. He is passionate about our weekly Celebration Assemblies and enjoys hearing the whole school singing as one, especially in our lovely Chapel!

Briony is our Assistant Head, Pre-Prep. As such she oversees the day-to-day running of the Pre-Prep including Nursery, Early Years and Key Stage 1. Briony shares the role of Reception teacher with Mrs Thorp and is our Forest School Leader, responsible for coordinating all Forest School activities.

Adam is our Deputy Head, having read History at University before embarking on a career in primary education. Since completing his PGCE over 10 years ago, Adam has held senior posts in schools across Worcestershire. As part of his role, he is responsible for the extensive co-curricular provision at King’s St Alban’s, leading on pupils’ personal development as well as being the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL). Adam is also responsible for the day-to-day running of the school and currently teaches Maths, Humanities, RE and PSHE. Adam is a keen sportsman and enjoys supporting and contributing to the sporting co-curricular clubs on offer at King’s St Alban’s.

Jo is King’s St Alban’s through and through, having taught with us for 22 years! Before joining the school she taught at St Mary’s Church of England School and Chestnut and Astley Cooper School in Hemel Hempstead. Jo joined us initially as a hockey coach before taking on more responsibilities within the school as Games teacher and teacher of Geography. More recently, Jo has stepped up to the role of Director of Sport at King’s St Alban’s. Under her leadership, sport within the school continues to thrive.
