The King's Parent Social Group

The King’s Parents’ Social Group (KPSG), also referred to as Parents’ Association exists to provide a sociable, fun link between home and school life, through a variety of events throughout the year to help raise funds for particular school projects and local charities.

Introducing the King’s Worcester Parents’ Social Group

The King’s Worcester Parent’s Social Group (KWPSG) consists of a group of parents and some senior members of the school’s staff who get together during the year to organise events such as the School Fête, the Parents’ Ball, and the Quiz Night.

Each year we raise thousands of pounds, which contribute towards important projects, as well as making donations to local charities. Recent projects funded have included furnishing the Sixth Form centre, the climbing wall, state of the art theatre equipment – anything that will enhance the existing provision of facilities and equipment and provide enriching enhancements for the benefit of all pupils.

Everyone is warmly welcomed to become involved – be it helping us plan our events and deciding how we use the funds we raise, to practical help on the ground when needed. Given the disruption to school life with the pandemic, the work of this group has never been more important and even a couple of hours of your time will make a difference and introduce you to new friends and enrich your own experience of life at King’s!

Winter Wonderland Ball – Saturday 25th November

The King’s School Parent Social Group are delighted to be hosting the annual King’s Ball at Stanbrook Abbey, just a short drive from the school on Saturday 25th November. A black-tie event, the committee look forward to welcoming parents, friends and family (over 18’s only, no current pupils) from across the King’s Foundation for an evening of delicious food, dance floor filling music and plenty of dancing.

The evening will begin with a reception drink and followed by a three-course meal (food choices will be required at point of booking). The menu can be found here. Orders for wine will be taken nearer the time however, please feel free to look at the wine list and packages available in the meantime.

Carriages will be at 12 midnight, however, the King’s School Parent Social Group have negotiated some fantastic rates on all room bookings made by those attending. Details can be found here.
