We embark on the summer term with new platforms that add interactivity to our distant learning offering. Remote learning is a new way of working for pupils, staff, and parents.
We are excited about the possibilities of remote learning which the move to Microsoft Teams will offer. We are confident that the new approaches we have established will enable pupils to have regular interactions with teachers and each other.
In this Remote Learning Hub, you will find information about distant learning at King’s Senior School. This includes how we will be adapting our learning for this Summer Term, our commitment to you, our plans for ongoing academic learning and also a variety of supporting information.
We know the feeling of community is strong at King’s and we continue to support you through your studies and co-curricular activities, as well as providing you with links for you to use if you ever need more guidance.
We’d like to thank the King’s Community for their ongoing support in helping prepare the children of the King’s Foundation for remote teaching and learning in the term ahead.
On this Remote Learning Hub you will find useful information on the following:
We have been really delighted with the learning that our son has been provided with this week. The lessons have been well thought out with lots of visual aids and engaging ideas. He has enjoyed his daily schedule and the balance and expectations of lessons from the teachers have been perfect.
We are unable to offer tours, Open Mornings or Taster days at the current time, however, we welcome contact from prospective families and are happy to send a prospectus or organise a virtual call with our current Acting Head, Mr Ricketts.
