King's St Alban's

26 November

The magic of Christmas arrives at Pre-Prep.

There is no denying it, the magic of Christmas is well and truly on its way to King’s St Alban’s Pre-Prep.

In a very busy week, pupils have all been working extremely hard practising for our Nativity play.  The roof has most certainly been lifted on our Pre-Prep hall! Rehearsing all of the songs with wonderful singing, voices could be heard from across the road on our Prep School playground.  The children have also been busy acting out our Christmas story of Whoops a Daisy Angel. The children have impressed with their dedication and commitment to learning all of their words, which we are sure will be perfect (fingers crossed!) by the time we arrive at our performances on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th December.

The stage arrives tomorrow and there is much excitement for rehearsals next week, when we start practising on it from Monday.  The children, from Reception to Year 2 are also very excited, as the dress rehearsal is a week today and they really cannot wait to try on the costumes. Who knows what the excitement levels will be like when they get to perform in front of adults and the magic of Christmas really begins?

Due to COVID precautions, we are only able to welcome two family members to the performances; however, a recording will be shared with families shortly after the event itself, as will a selection of photographs. All parents should have received a letter with regards to booking tickets, however a copy of the letter can be found on the website.
