2022 begins with exciting news for OV James Byrne (W 91-02). James is Executive Director for Marketing and Reputation at ‘Dragon Rouge’, a global creative agency with bases in eight offices based all around the world. With his fellow Dragon Rouge team, James is up for three ‘Transform Europe Awards’ for their work on three different brands. The Transform Europe Awards recognise best practice in corporate, product and global brand development work, with categories that focus on strategy, execution, content and evaluation. More than that, it is a platform for organisations to tell their stories and to discuss reputational change. Categories cover visual identity, brand architecture, wayfinding, creative strategy, brand evolution and implementation of a brand development project.
The three awards for which James and his team are nominated are for their work with ‘Genius Sports’ for Best Visual Identity from the Tech Sector, work for Reckitt’s ‘Vanish’ for Best Use of Packaging, and their work for ‘Reed’ for Best Brand Consolidation.
On seeing these projects recognised James says, “It’s great to be in the mix for these awards, working with some of the world’s most interesting international brands across very different sectors.”
