King’s St Alban’s welcomes new Pre-Prep Assistant Head

King’s St Alban’s welcomes new Assistant Head of  Pre-Prep:

King’s St Alban’s was delighted to welcome Miss Briony Cartwright to the school on Monday. Miss Cartwright joins us as our new Pre-Prep Assistant Head and as such has responsibility for the Nursery, Early Years and Key Stage 1. Miss Cartwright will be working closely with our Nursery Manager, Sarah Pugh and her team as well as our Pre-Prep teachers.

Our Reception pupils will get to know Miss Cartwright extremely well this term as she shares the Reception teacher role with Mrs Thorp.

With plenty of Early Years experience, Miss Cartwright, will be well placed to lead the Pre-Prep team. She joins us from Ombersley First School where she was Upper School Leader, Early Years Coordinator and SENDCo.

Miss Cartwright is looking forward to getting to know all the children and families in Pre-Prep.  At the end of her first week in her new post, she said “All the staff and children at KSA have been extremely welcoming and the atmosphere around the school is lovely.  I’m really looking forward to working in such a nurturing and positive environment.”

You can hear more from Miss Cartwright in this short video:

Prospective Parents and pupils will have the opportunity to meet Miss Cartwright at our next Spring Open Day on Saturday 8th May.
