OV Five Year Fun

We were thrilled on Saturday 11th September to welcome back the years of 2015 and 2016 for their Five Year Reunion. The year of 2015 of course had their reunion last year postponed due to Coronavirus.

With testing in place and the School gardens fortunately bathed in lovely September sunshine, we welcomed back around 170 OVs and some parents too.

It was super to see so many smiling, happy faces and wonderful to hear stories of where the last five years have taken the OVs: on travels, into careers, exciting studies, awards, relationships and much more.

The Heads of School from each respective year, Toby Thomas (W 08-15) and Kaushik Rai (Br 09-16), each spoke a few words to their year group and it was incredibly powerful to hear how the bonds, friendships and experiences from days at King’s have continued, providing strength, warmth, support and opportunities within the OV network today.

Headmaster Gareth Doodes was also able to address the OVs, assuring them that their School is in both good health and heart.

Always the sign of a good reunion, the group stayed long after the intended end time with many continuing on into Worcester after for more fun!
