Congratulations to OV Edward Cumming QC (Br 90-01) who has been shortlisted in the Chambers Bar Awards for Chancery Silk. The awards reflect notable achievements over the past year including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. Edward won the Chancery Junior category in 2016/7. This year a virtual ceremony will take place on 19th November and we wish Edward the best of luck in his category.
On leaving King’s, Edward studied Law at Dowling College Cambridge and then won a scholarship to study for an LLM at The University of Pennsylvania. He served as a Barrister and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in February 2018 – the youngest QC in the country. We are delighted that Edward will be coming back to school later this month as our next Barnabas Speaker and we have no doubt he will be an inspiration to the next generation of budding lawyers.
