OV to feature in ‘Virtual’ Malvern Science in the Park!

If you are going to the ‘Virtual’ Malvern Science in the Park on Saturday 27th June then keep an eye out for OV Ilija Rašović (Cr 03-10)!

For his slot, Ilija will be joining host Dr Adrian Burden to talk about carbon! They will be discussing questions including, ‘Have you ever wondered how sparkly diamond and ‘pencil lead’ graphite could possibly be made of the same atoms?’.

Ilija works at the University of Birmingham in the Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences (LANS) Hub and also in the Engineering & Physical Sciences (EPS) college. As well as this, Ilija also carries out research on the synthesis of new fullerene-based materials for use in biomedical applications.
