Overseas OVs Reunion in Hong Kong

The most recent Overseas OV Reunion was held in Hong Kong on Wednesday 13 March, 2024.

Generously hosted by OVs Andrew Eden (W 68-78 and Old St Alban’s) and his nephew Antony Eden (K 86-96 and Old St Alban’s), those OVs in reasonable proximity to Hong Kong met at The Foreign Correspondents’ Club for drinks and a delightful dinner.

King’s Headmaster, Gareth Doodes made the journey to join them, noting how distance should not be a barrier for any member of the King’s community to be involved and keep connected with the School.

Gareth, Andrew and Antony were joined by OVs Simon Lowth (W 91-02), Chun-Ho Peter Lau (H/Ca 92-98), Joseph Kwok (Ch 91-95), Wing Fung Alan Lau (Ch 80-84), Yeun To Soong (Ca 79-82), Robert Schemuly (Ch 78-83 and Old Hawfordian) and Thomas Chan (S 95-02).

It was a great evening for the OVs, full of reminiscing about their own times at King’s, sharing many happy memories, and hearing more about the School today and plans for the future from Gareth. It was also a wonderful opportunity for the OVs to connect with each other over the common bond of King’s.
