There is still time to submit your own artwork to the King’s art department’s Landscape a Day’ competition open to all pupils, parents, staff, OVs and friends of the King’s community.
Due to the current circumstances, we are all currently spending more time in front of screens and less time outside. This initiative set up by the art department is intended to get us outdoors and encourage a little bit of creativity.
The art department is inviting participants to submit up to three landscape drawings, paintings or photographs, the best of which will be published on the art department’s Twitter each day throughout March and shown in a virtual 3D exhibition at the end of the month. There will also be prizes on offer for the best overall entries.
Feel free to interpret the term ‘Landscape’ however you wish, the most inventive and creative interpretations will most likely catch the judges’ eye. To get involved, get creative!
To submit your entry, click this link.
With your submission, please also include your name, your connection with the school and a short sentence to help us understand a little bit more about the piece.
We very much look forward to seeing some entries from the OV community. To view entries and gain further inspiration, take a look at our Landscape a Day page.
