OV’s Firm of the Year Award

Worcester-based Britannic Place Financial Management, founded by OV and chartered financial planner Steve Perera (Cr 86-93), has been named the Micro Wealth Management Firm of the Year at the MoneyAge Awards 2022.

The MoneyAge awards, now in their seventh year, celebrate the excellence, innovation, and professionalism in the ever expanding and innovative personal finance space across the UK.

Steve headed to London for the black-tie awards ceremony on 13 October 2022 and received the unexpected award from the event’s compère, stand-up comedian Hal Cruttenden. The MoneyAge judging panel described Britannic Place as “a firm with a passionate leader, a well-resourced company, and a business with happy clients.”

Commenting on the award, Steve said, “We’re over the moon to have received this award and such wonderful comments from the MoneyAge judges. Our dedicated team will continue to work tirelessly, helping to ensure our clients are in control of their finances. Recognition like this helps to make all the hard work worthwhile.”

In addition to the award for his business, Steve has also been personally recognised as a Top Rated Adviser, being granted the status for yet another year by the organisation, VouchedFor, which is based on verified reviews.
