The Hawford Parents Association Camp Out took place in a glorious 24 hour break in the otherwise wet weekend. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed event with the children enjoying the numerous Hawford facilities over the course of the event. The parents also made full benefit of the tepee, including hot drinks on tap, the warmth of the gas fire pit, BBQ and music/the F1 qualifying rounds. One of the Year 5 girls did an amazing job as the unofficial festival make-up artist. The evening hot chocolate was served to the children by one of the Dad's followed by the marshmallow toasting. In the morning, we had an excellent breakfast cooked up by two of our Dad's which helped warm us after a night under the stars. A big thank you to all those who attended and to those who helped with the set up/tidy up. All the children had a wonderful Camp Out and enjoyed the opportunity to run around school out of hours!
