Remembering the Criccieth Evacuees

In 1939, at the start of WWII, pupils of the King’s School were evacuated to the safety of Criccieth in Wales. Criccieth Town Council are putting together a one-day exhibition/event on Remembrance Sunday (10th November) about the 80th anniversary of the WWII evacuations and we have been fortunate that our school archivist has been able to assist in providing digital copies of some documents that they are going to use in the exhibition.

If any OVs would be interested to find out about the exhibition or would like to attend then more details can be found in this informative video here.
