King's St Alban's

Spooktacular Halloween Party.
On Saturday afternoon, the King’s St Alban’s Parent Social Group hosted a spooktacular Halloween party for the pupils of King’s St Alban’s and their families.
The King’s Worcester dining hall was transformed with a host of spooky decorations. Skeletons, pumpkins, gigantic spiders, witches’ cauldrons and floating witches’ hats set the scene for an afternoon of fun. The Nursery and Pre-Prep pupils kick-started proceedings, enthusiastically hitting the dance floor with some impressive moves. DJ Chris quickly had everyone enthusiastically dancing the conga, jumping around to the latest hits and playing a number of party games. A fancy-dress competition, judged by Mr Chapman, Headmaster of King’s St Alban’s, was closely fought! Congratulations to Akshay and Luna, both Year 1 pupils, who collected their prizes with enormous smiles on their faces!
Having expended a huge amount of energy, Pre-Prep and Nursery children were ready to tuck into a delicious hot dog. Extended families also enjoyed delicious hot dogs, homemade soup, teas, coffees and hot chocolate, all provided by the King’s Foundation caterers, Thomas Franks.
Hot on the heels of the Nursery and Pre-Prep party, the King’s St Alban’s Parent Social Group quickly prepared for party number two: the Prep School Halloween party! Ready to embrace some Halloween fun, the pupils had made a tremendous effort with their costumes; we had witches and wizards, ghosts and ghouls a-plenty. The dance floor was once again filled with energetic pupils throwing some impressive moves. The children were kept entertained by the ever-enthusiastic DJ Chris, a familiar face at King’s St Alban’s. Pupils also enjoyed a visit to the Halloween tuck shop for sweet treats and spooky accessories before devouring their hot dogs.
A huge thank you from the King’s St Alban’s Parent Social Group to all of those pupils and parents who supported the event, raising over £900. All funds raised will be reinvested into the School to the benefit of all of the pupils.
