Students Celebrate their A Level Results at King’s
A in Biology, Chemistry and Physics
Henry James who joined the King’s Foundation at King’s Hawford has been an all-round student and has taken full advantage of all of the opportunities offered at King’s. He has excelled in music and theatre during his time at the School playing double bass in First Orchestra and County Youth Orchestra. Henry achieved three As and will be studying Medicine at Nottingham after a GAP Year during which he will gain work experience at Worcester Royal Infirmary before travelling.
A* in Chemistry, English Literature and Maths, A IN BIOLOGY
Alice Evans our Head of School, has been an amazing leader in the school. She has played a key part in the school this year whilst also working hard and achieving academically. Her results (A – Biology, A* in Chemistry, English Literature and Maths) and the place she has secured at Oxford speaks for itself.
A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry
Ollie has been part of the King’s Foundation for over ten years. He credits the King’s Foundation for helping him grow in confidence in a happy and positive community.
Having gained 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry Ollie will be taking the next step in his education with a place to study Design Engineering at Imperial College, London.
A* in German and Religious Studies, A in Latin
Bella was elated to gain her place at St John’s Oxford having achieved A* in German and Religious Studies and an A in Latin. During her time at King’s Bella expressed how well she was supported by the school, especially by her subject teachers.
A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, A in Chemistry
All of Joe’s hard work has paid off with an excellent set of results being achieved at A Level, which has secured him a place at Jesus College, Oxford to read Engineering Science. Joe will be joining his older brother Ed, who is also studying Engineering at Oxford.
A* in Geography, Pre-U A* in Art and B in Maths
We’ve had some great results this year including Victoria Bartlett who will go onto study Interior Design at Falmouth University after achieving a D1, the highest Pre-U Art grade at King’s.
A* in Chemistry, Maths and Physics, A in Further Maths
Andrew has had a busy and enjoyable educational career at King’s. As well as excelling academically he was an active member of rowing and took part in Combined Cadet Force and Duke of Edinburgh. Andrew also found time to play the clarinet in the school Wind and Jazz Band. From September Andrew will be taking up a place to study Engineering at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge after achieving A*s in Chemistry, Maths and Physics and an A in Further Maths.
