Talented musicians triumph in ABRSM exams
Congratulations to all the children who sat their ABRSM music examinations in school in the week before half-term. The Prep Test Certificates were issued to children by the examiner on the day, along with lots of constructive and encouraging comments to boost them on their way to their next goal. The Initial Grade is a relatively new level towards Grade 1, and it was wonderful to have six children taking this step, each receiving exam-format feedback. Mrs Hughes explained to the pupils that the lucky examiner was here to have a lovely day and hear them give their best performances. The younger children particularly impressed with their calm approach to their first exams, and they returned to their classrooms feeling happy and relaxed. Congratulations go to the following pupils:
