The King’s Foundation is a family of leading coeducational independent day schools in and close to Worcester. The original school dates back to 1541, when it was refounded on the orders of Henry VIII.

There are three schools in the community: King’s Worcester (11 to 18), and two Junior Schools, King’s St Alban’s and King’s Hawford (both 2 to 11).

A Community of Three Schools

King's Worcester (11 to 18)

King’s Worcester is the Senior School, situated next to Worcester Cathedral and the River Severn, on a peaceful and attractive site in the centre of Worcester. In 2019/20 the school will educate 892 pupils, with six Forms of between 20 and 22 pupils, starting at 11+. We also have around 30 pupils joining us from local schools for the Sixth Form.

King's St Alban's (2 to 11)

King’s St Alban’s is set in an idyllic location on the banks of the River Severn in the heart of Worcester, adjacent to the Senior School and Worcester Cathedral. The bright, welcoming Nursery facilities and Pre-Prep classrooms complement the Junior School which, though steeped in history, combines up-to-date facilities and technology.

King's Hawford (2 to 11)

King’s Hawford is just to the north of Worcester, in a beautiful rural location with spacious grounds and facilities. With a strong focus on outdoor education, children of all ages have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a vast range of activities, both academic and co-curricular.
