- Tuesday’s Junior School Assembly – For World Book Day, Mr Chapman tells us all about his favourite books and encourages the children to get a book and get reading for pleasure! Plus there’s a mysterious video of some familiar masked readers for children to decipher.
- Thursday’s Junior School Assembly – Assistant Head, Lisa Kilbey, talks to the children of the importance of facial expression, body language and how beginning the day with a smile will have a positive impact on everyone around you.
- Friday’s Celebration Assembly with Mr Chapman – Mr Chapman applauds the wide range of this week’s achievements by the children, including a throw-back to one of our musical performances and a wonderful art montage with wide-ranging subjects; line drawings inspired by artist Hey Mady, Yr 5 pop art food cans inspired by Andy Warhol, Yr 4 flower fairies inspired by Cicily Mary Barker, Yr 3 doodle art inspired by Paul Klee and Yr 2 fabulous flamingos.
