Top of the World for OV Adventure

Congratulations to Barney Sears (Ch 10-15) who has just climbed Kilimanjaro! Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and in fact the highest free-standing mountain in the world, standing at 5,895m.

Barney would like to climb the highest mountains in each continent and his love of trekking comes from completing his Gold D of E whilst at school. During his time in school, Barney had been on crutches for nearly a year having completely ruptured his ACL playing rugby and only had his final operation in March this year – so this climb has been quite an achievement. Barney has now started on a graduate scheme in Investment and Finance with NFU.
