Weekly Review: Autumn Term 22 Week 2
New roles for a new academic year:
We have enjoyed another busy week, that has seen all of the pupils shine across the school. Our pupils play a large role in life at King’s Hawford and pupil voice is extremely important. On Monday, a whole school vote was held to decide our third and final charity partner for the year. Pupils were able to put forward charities of their choosing and then had the opportunity to speak in front of their peers to secure votes for their choice of charity. Read about all three of our School Charities here.
School Council voting took place on Monday, with those pupils looking to join the Council giving short presentations to their classmates in an attempt to secure votes. Pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 took part and all members of School Council were announced in Friday’s assembly. Learn more about the voting process and our newly elected School Council members here.
On Wednesday, pupils from the Prep and Pre-Prep joined together in their Houses to vote for House Captains. It is always a wonderful occasion to get our pupils together in their Houses as it is a brilliant way to foster friendships across the year groups. You can read about our newly elected House Captains here.
