U9 Rounders v The Elms
The girls showed great enthusiasm in their first rounders fixture of the year, with Arabella and Ava producing some fine hits. Molly and Pia also scored excellent rounders. Martha found consistency with her bowling and Ava displayed alertness when fielding.

U9A Cricket v Bromsgrove
On Thursday afternoon, the U9 A Cricket team had their first match of the season against a strong, consistent Bromsgrove side. Having lost the toss, we were put into bat. Some good running and strong hitting, particularly from Luke P and Fabian D, gave us a respectable score of 50 in our 8 overs. Unfortunately, when it was Bromsgrove's turn to bat, we bowled a few too many wides and gave them some easy runs. This, combined with some very good batting from some of their pairs, meant that Bromsgrove won the match by 14 runs. Overall, it was a solid performance and one that we can build on for the rest of the season.
Mr Dudley
U9B Cricket v Bromsgrove
The boys were extremely excited for their first cricket match, and started with some superb bowling from James, who also produced excellent fielding to claim a wicket. The batters formed formidable pairings to come extremely close to matching Bromsgrove's school in a fun afternoon for all.
