King's Hawford

Welcome to Bethlehem – A KAPLA Showstopper!

We were delighted to welcome Jennifer back to King’s Hawford for her third KAPLA workshop—this time with a festive twist!

Her visit brought a sprinkle of Christmas magic to our creative constructions, captivating the imaginations of our young builders.

Year 1 joined forces to craft an impressive viaduct bridge that wound its way through the town of Bethlehem. The structure passed twinkling Christmas trees and led right up to Santa and his sleigh, blending the wonder of architecture with the joy of the holiday season. Reception, Year 2, and Year 3 also played pivotal roles in bringing this incredible festive scene to life.

Throughout the workshop, the children showcased exceptional collaboration, creativity, and teamwork. It was wonderful to see their excitement and focus as they worked together to achieve a shared vision. The final creation was truly spectacular, standing as a testament to their collective effort and imagination.

A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer for guiding us through this magical experience and helping us create memories to treasure. Her workshops continue to inspire and challenge our children, and we are already looking forward to her next visit!
