Year 1’s Journey to South Africa

Year 1 enjoyed their Journey to South Africa today, as they had a special visitor today as part of their current topic – Cora’s mummy, who recently flew to South Africa!

The children re-enacted her journey, complete with tasting some South African snacks she brought back.

Cora’s mummy, who works as cabin crew, shared fascinating insights about her job. She then went on to describe what it’s like to work on an airplane and travel to different places. The children were captivated by her stories and had the chance to ask lots of questions at the end. It was a fun and educational experience that brought their learning to life!
