Year 4 Bring Tin People to Life!

During this week’s Friday Enrichment session, Year 4 completed their tin people projects. Using tin cans, wire, and beads from broken jewellery, the children created imaginative and characterful designs.

The activity engaged the children in exploring different materials and experimenting with shapes and colours. They carefully threaded beads onto wire to form arms, legs, and accessories, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving. Each tin person reflects its maker’s unique style, with vibrant combinations of beads, quirky wire arrangements, and inventive poses.

The session provided an opportunity to develop fine motor skills and explore upcycling by repurposing discarded items into something new. The children worked with enthusiasm, and the final results are impressive and varied.

The finished tin people capture the creativity and effort the children invested, and we are so pleased with their outcomes!
