Year Six Enjoy an Afternoon at ‘Big King’s’

Year Six pupils from both King’s Hawford and King’s St Alban’s spent an exciting afternoon exploring life at the Senior School, affectionately known as ‘Big King’s’, on Tuesday.

Children had the chance to try a variety of sessions, including DT, Biology and Geography, as well as enjoying activities in the library. They listened to an interesting assembly from Head of Lower Years, Mr Chapman, and later in the afternoon Mr Charles popped in to say hello and watch some of the activities.

The visit also gave the children the chance to develop friendships, meet teachers and discover more about the Senior School. Although the children all regularly visit the Senior School campus, it was a fantastic way to explore the site even more!

This is just one of many opportunities for our pupils to experience what King’s Senior School has to offer. The afternoon forms part of an extensive programme that has been developed to ensure a smooth transition from King’s St Alban’s and King’s Hawford to the Senior School.
