Drama Club managed to pull off with genuine aplomb our recent production of ‘The Ratbusters’, performed in the John Moore Theatre on Monday. Without doubt, this was one of the most demanding productions that the club has undertaken, with a lot of lines to learn and some difficult language to master. But the children proved undaunted. They relished the storyline, with its multiple opportunities for ratty mayhem. This no doubt encouraged them to put in the extra effort required to pull off such a tricky play. Well done to all concerned: as ever, it was the team effort that produced such a satisfying end result. And a big thank-you to parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, who played their part in helping the children learn their lines.
