Liz Havard

With all the fine weather recently it is a perfect time for sporting events and this week we have got cricket, athletics and rowing all taking place. Our OV this week is Liz Havard (K 92-99) who now works in the sports industry with her own Pilates and sports therapy business. At King’s, Liz was a talented sportswoman playing for the 1st XI and even represented England in Rowing at a junior level. Liz graduated from Reading University in 2003 and went on to train as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2007, she then completed her Pilates training with The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.

She has worked at The Droitwich BMI Hospital, Worcester Warriors, The British Army and has also worked with The Tongan National Squad during the Churchill Cup. Liz set up The Farm Studio in May 2017 with a vision to create a unique space that offers clients specialist pilates and soft tissue treatments to address their training, lifestyle or rehab needs. Liz now has 2 sports massage therapists, a nutritional therapist and an APPI Pilates instructor working alongside her at The Farm Studio.
