Will D Embarks on Professional Rugby and Surveying Career Pathway

King’s is proud to announce that Upper Sixth student, Will D, has taken the next step in his sporting and professional journey.

Following his A levels, Will will embark on a dual-career pathway that combines a professional rugby contract with an apprenticeship in surveying.

Will has progressed into a professional rugby environment with Coventry Rugby, providing him with the opportunity to train and compete within a senior performance setting. This marks a significant milestone and reflects his sustained development, work ethic and ambition throughout his time at King’s.Alongside his rugby progression, Will will begin an apprenticeship in surveying with Bromwich Hardy, gaining hands-on industry experience while working towards recognised professional qualifications. This structured pathway ensures he can pursue excellence in sport while building strong foundations for a long-term professional career.

Will, who studies A levels in Geography, PE and Business, has been a committed and influential member of the King’s rugby programme, serving as Captain as the 1st XV and consistently demonstrating the standards, discipline and character required to succeed at the next level. His progression is a testament to both his personal dedication and the supportive performance environment at the school.

Foundation Director of Sport, Jonny Mason, commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Will and is a great reflection not only of his talent as a rugby player, but also the dedication he has put into his studies.
