Foundation Assembly Celebrates Community and Values
On a bright and inspiring morning, our school community gathered at Worcester Cathedral for a memorable Foundation Assembly to celebrate our shared values and the spirit of togetherness.
Tuesday’s Foundation Cathedral Service was a particularly special event, as our three Schools came together to celebrate shared values and traditions. Heads of School, Mary W and Arthur A from King’s Hawford opened the service by welcoming all and the Heads of School, Eric D and Amelia V from King’s Senior offered readings on the theme of unity, while pupils from King’s St Alban’s led the congregation in reflective prayer.
Their clear and confident voices echoed through the Cathedral, captivating everyone present. As they recited the prayers, a deep sense of reflection and gratitude filled the space, reminding us all of the importance of mindfulness in our everyday lives. The choir’s beautiful performance added to the occasion,making it a memorable event that perfectly captured the collaborative spirit across our Foundation.

The assembly also featured an inspiring address from Chaplain Dr. Dorsett, who spoke about the importance of community and the role each student plays in fostering a caring and supportive environment.
It was a truly special event that left everyone with a renewed sense of connection and purpose.
