A Royal Appointment for OV Lara
OV Lara Drew (K 09-16 and Old St Alban’s) is the Exhibition Project Manager for Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style, an exhibition at The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
The exhibition charts Queen Elizabeth II’s fashion and stylistic choices throughout her life and includes pieces from her childhood, her off-duty style, her tour wardrobe, eveningwear and famous colourful daywear, as well as fashion sketches and accessories. Standout objects include the royal christening robe, her 1947 wedding dress and 1952 coronation dress.
Lara managed the project over the last two years, from conception to install, coordinating all the different teams involved.

Lara added “it was great to meet the King and Queen when they visited to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s centenary in April. Fellow OV Cameron Walker (Os 08-15), the Royal Correspondent at GB News, was also there!”
OVs may have already had opportunity to visit the exhibition, but if not yet then the exhibition has recently been extended until 18 April 2027. Visit www.rct.uk for tickets and more information.
