Alumni and Business Development Office enables the King’s Foundation to sustain its reputation as a centre of educational excellence through the generosity of its supporting community.
We bring together the varied strands of former pupils, staff, and parents through a range of creative events and communications under the King’s Foundation umbrella. Director of Finance and Business Development
Role: Georgina sits on the King’s Foundation Leadership Team and, as part of this role, oversees the Alumni and Business Development office providing strategic guidance and direction in line with the Foundations strategic goals and objectives. Georgina recognises the importance of both our OVs and our wider King’s community and works with the team to maintain and develop these relationships.
Background: Georgina is a Qualified Chartered Accountant, she joined the King’s Foundation in 2021. While her background is within the manufacturing sector she has always focused on influencing the strategic direction of an organisation and building key relationships that support that.
Hannah Sparrey

Head of Alumni and Business Development
Role: Hannah manages the Alumni and Business Development Office whose primary responsibilities are to maintain relationships throughout the King’s Community, from OVs through to the parent body and local businesses. Hannah is responsible for building the commercial activities of the foundation as well as fundraising to support the foundations’ strategic objectives.
Background: Hannah joined the team in August 2022. She is a strategic management professional with a background in product development and fundraising.

Amanda Sutcliffe
Alumni Relations Co-ordinator
Role: Amanda supports the OV community through helping to keep OVs connected, as well as producing OV news, arranging OV events, and looking after the Old Vigornian social media accounts.
Background: Amanda joined the team in April 2021 and has a background in marketing/PR.
