Christmas Coffee & Cake: A Festive Gathering at King’s

This week, the Head’s Reception at King’s was filled with festive spirit as retired staff gathered for the annual Christmas Coffee & Cake event. The occasion offered a lovely opportunity for old friends and colleagues to reconnect over delicious cakes and freshly brewed coffee, and to meet the new Head of Foundation, Ben Charles.

We were delighted to welcome many familiar Hon OV faces from across the teaching and support staff, including former Head, Tim Keyes, former Second Master, Tim Hickson, a flurry of English teachers with Andrew Maund, Mark Warren and David Braithwaite (King’s St Alban’s) making an appearance, and many more. They were joined by some of their former colleagues still at King’s, who popped in during morning break. All the photos from the event are available on the Vigornian Hub HERE – take a look and see how many faces you recognise!

Although a few guests were unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, the gathering was a great success, reinforcing the strong sense of community that is the embodiment of King’s.
