Induction Day Heralds the Start of Students’ Sixth Form Journey

We were delighted to welcome our new Sixth Form students to King’s this week, where they started their Sixth Form journey at the annual Induction Day.

The day included an extremely fun session of team-building activities, excellently organised and run by our newly appointed House Prefects.

Head of Sixth Form, Josh Hand, said: “It was a superb afternoon, and we really saw the best of the Lower Sixth students, and in particular the new Upper Sixth House Prefects.”

Comments from students included:

“I really enjoyed the Sixth Form induction day, meeting the new students joining King’s and catching up with friends. A BBQ and team building was a brilliant way to break the ice and left me looking forward to the time ahead in Sixth Form!”(Flo)

“My induction day at King’s felt genuinely welcoming. Every teacher I met made a real effort to make sure I knew exactly where I needed to be and what I should be doing. The day settled my nerves enormously before my first full day, and it also gave me the chance to meet lots of people in my House and start chatting with those I’ll be in lessons with.” (Siena)
