Inspiring Futures: Sixth Form Students Explore University Life

Fifty-eight Sixth Form students enjoyed a thought-provoking day at Nottingham University last Friday, designed to give them a genuine insight into university life.

The trip provided a unique opportunity for students to explore a range of academic departments, meet with current undergraduates and immerse themselves in the environment of a leading university.

Throughout the day, the Lower Sixth students attended subject-specific talks, and toured faculty and accommodation facilities, gaining valuable understanding of both the academic and social aspects of Higher Education.

Students were particularly inspired by the breadth of study options available and the independence university life fosters. Many left with a clearer vision of their future aspirations and a strengthened motivation to pursue their academic goals.

The visit sparked conversations, questions, and ambitions that will resonate well into their Sixth Form journey and beyond.
