King’s Celebrates Shortlisting at Independent School of the Year Awards
The King’s Worcester Foundation is thrilled to announce that all three of its schools have been shortlisted for a total of five awards in this year’s Independent School of the Year (ISOTY) Awards. This is the highest number of award nominations in the schools’ history.
King’s Worcester Senior School are on the shortlist in a number of categories including Co-Educational School of the Year as well as Sporting Achievement and Rising Star of the Year categories. As well as King’s Worcester being recognised, our Prep Schools, King’s St Alban’s and King’s Hawford have also both been shortlisted for Prep School of the Year.
The Independent School of the Year awards are designed to showcase independent school success stories and celebrate the extraordinary student experience provided during the 2021 and 2022 academic years. This year there are 22 award categories, which receive over 1000 entries from UK Independent Schools.
The shortlist news is another fantastic achievement for King’s, alongside their recent recognition in The Sunday Times Top 10 West Midlands Independent Secondary School league and also the recent Top 20 UK Nursery Group Award received by the King’s nurseries for the second year running.
Mr Doodes, Headmaster at King’s Worcester and CEO of the Foundation, said, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted in so many categories this year. It is a great acknowledgement that our schools, staff and pupils have been recognised for our co-educational provision, sporting achievement and our talented young pupils.”
Finalists will be announced in September, with the awards ceremony taking place later in the year.
