OV London Drinks: A Fantastic Evening in the Capital

This month, OVs from across the decades, and from across the globe, gathered in London for a warm and lively evening at the Theodore Bullfrog, just off the Strand.

Held upstairs in the private Villiers Room, the event brought together OVs from the 1970s through to the 2020s in a relaxed atmosphere with a mix of catching up with long‑standing friends, meeting new faces, networking, and sharing stories from their days at King’s. It was also the ideal opportunity for the new Head of Foundation, Ben Charles, to meet more of our OV community.

A special mention goes to the Year of 1987 cohort, who were invited to gather slightly earlier before joining the main event; another lovely example of how year groups continue to maintain their ties within the OV network.

OV London Drinks remains a popular fixture in the OV events calendar, and with such an enthusiastic turnout this year, planning is already underway for the next gathering. In fact, the date for OV London Drinks 2027 is already booked: Thursday 4 February 2027, returning to the Theodore Bullfrog.
