We love to hear how opera star and OV Allan Clayton (H 91-99) is getting on and we have been delighted to hear many rave reviews since the new year began about all his latest performances! Allan has been involved with London’s Wigmore Hall where they have been celebrating the work of Benjamin Britten and John Dowland. Allan has performed a variety of works including Britten’s Songs from the Chinese and has been praised for performing with harrowingly raw emotion and expressive detail.
We are also very excited that it has been announced that Allan will be performing at the Royal Opera House in the role of Laca Klemen in Jenůfa from 24th March- 9th April 2020. Jenůfa explores the lives of two courageous women struggling for fulfilment in a small rural community. Break a leg Allan!
