Record Breaking Day at County Athletics Championships!

It was an incredible day at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire County Athletics Championships on Saturday, with over 40 King’s Worcester athletes competing. There were numerous personal bests from across the day, with 25 medals being won!

Medallists at H&W County Athletics Championships:

Junior Girls:

Ella P – Gold in the 800m

Phoebe M – Silver in the 1500m

Jess D – Gold in the Javelin

Mathilda P – Bronze in the Javelin

Lilly W – Silver in the 300m

Junior Boys:

Dan A – Silver in the Triple Jump

Ollie M – Gold in the Javelin

Will F – Bronze in the 300m

Inter Girls:

Rosa J – Bronze in the Triple Jump

Lottie K – Bronze in the 300m

Phoebe R – Bronze in the Long Jump

Maddie W – Gold in the Discus

Ruby C – Gold in the Javelin

Inter Boys:

Ethan G – Bronze in the Triple Jump

Ollie R – Gold in the Shot Put

Ollie R – Silver in the Discus

Henry H – Silver in the Shot Put

Harry P – Silver in the 100m

Alec E – Gold in the High Jump

This is the best ever performance across the board from King’s Worcester with 14 athletes qualifying to compete for Herefordshire and Worcestershire at the Mason Trophy next weekend in Stoke.
