School House Lunch 2024

Our many thanks to OV Dr Tim Wadsworth (S 56-61) who not only organises the annual School House Lunch but has also provided the following précis of the reunion:

“The lunch was held again this year at the RAF Club, Piccadilly, on 30 September 2024 and was kindly hosted, as last year, by David Murray (S 45-61). We were group of 10, a little smaller than usual, and a little more elderly than usual – we were all 80ish rather than 70ish. The lunch has never been exclusively School House and we have always welcomed other Houses and staff members: this year we had two from Creighton House and two Hon OVs, Rory McTurk and former Bursar, Galen Bartholomew, all regulars at the lunch. We enjoyed an excellent meal and, as ever, it was a great pleasure to meet again friends from over 60 years ago and of course we remembered Dan McTurk.”

They were joined by OVs Derek Bell (S 56-58), Mike Dudley (Cl 51-59), Malcolm Joyner (Cr 44-52), Martin Lorenz (S 45-50), Mike Page (Cr 60-65) and Andrew Wallbank (S 52-59).
