The position of School Prefect at King’s is just one of the many leadership opportunities offered in the Sixth Form. Student leaders are highly regarded and provide a positive role model for other pupils, keeping the School running at its best while also building upon our traditions. Prefect privileges include dinners, processing in the College Hall Assembly, and a weekly Prefects’ Lunch, to name but a few.

Prefects receive training both during the Lower Sixth and the Upper Sixth and are given guidance on their roles and responsibilities and a chance to develop their understanding of different styles of leadership. This also includes practical activities, where they learn how to manage teams and start to understand their own strengths and weaknesses as a leader and their own individual style.

Congratulations to all our new Prefects on your outstanding achievement.
