Ten Year reunion for the Year of 2015
On Saturday 22 March 2025, it was a huge pleasure to welcome the Year of 2015 back to King’s to celebrate their Ten Year Reunion!
Starting with tours of the school, the 2015 cohort were accompanied by current Heads of School Amelia V and Eric D, along with several Upper Sixth Monitors. The tours provided an opportunity to revisit some familiar sights including College Hall, Edgar Tower, and the Michael Baker Boathouse, as well as seeing the recent changes in School House and popping into the Keyes Building, which had only just opened in their final year.
The OVs reconvened in the Mulberry Marquee with their school friends, many of whom had not seen each other since their Five Year Reunion, or even since leaving School!
Joining the OVs were some of their former teachers, including Hon OVs Katie Beever, Simon Cuthbertson, Gilly, Chris Haywood, Alison Hines, Dr Richard James, Stephan and Sarah Le Marchand, Russ Mason, Julie Palmer, Ian Robinson, and Donna Salkeld.
Hon OV Katie Beever formally welcomed the Year of 2015 back to King’s, who cheered upon learning of her promotion to currently being Senior Deputy Head! Katie updated the 2015 cohort on the School’s latest news, before handing over to OV and former Head of School, Dr Tobias Thomas (W 08-15), who shared some wonderful words with his schoolfriends (shocking some into the realisation they had been out of school for longer than they had been in!) before asking everyone to raise a glass to each other.
The Year of 2015 continued with their reuniting, reminiscing, and catching up on their lives, families, and careers. As the evening at King’s drew to a close, the Year of 2015 were having such a great time at School, they had to be gently encouraged by Gilly to head into town and continue to make the most of their time back together!
