The King’s Foundation is a dynamic, thriving community of independent day schools for boys and girls aged two to eighteen. It is comprised of a Senior School and two Junior Schools, King’s St Alban’s and King’s Hawford, based across two beautiful sites.

Attracting over 1,800 children from Worcestershire and beyond, we provide an exciting and inspiring education dedicated to helping girls and boys thrive and reach their potential.

King’s Worcester and King’s St Alban’s are situated in picturesque surroundings alongside Worcester Cathedral and the River Severn. With a history dating back to the 7th Century, close links to the cathedral, our city centre schools have a strong sense of tradition. This, combined with stunning contemporary architecture, encapsulates our city centre schools’ ethos perfectly, respecting our proud history and traditional values whilst embracing technology and innovative teaching methods. These schools enjoy a wonderful location, fantastic sporting facilities on site, including an amazing boathouse and over 50 acres of beautiful playing fields.

Our more rural Junior School, King’s Hawford, is an award-winning, leading independent day school for those aged two to eleven. Set in 23 acres of land, which runs alongside the Droitwich canal in the heart of rural Worcestershire, we have nature on our doorstep. King’s Hawford, which has a sizeable Nursery, was judged ‘outstanding’ in all categories in its most recent full EYFS inspection. Centred on an elegant Georgian building, the school has impressive facilities, including a new sports hall, a music school, an indoor swimming pool and well-equipped specialist teaching facilities for Science, IT and Art.

We are proud of our schools, and their locations and facilities, but isn’t that what all schools say? What really makes the King’s Foundation different?
